Life Garland Executive Producer/Director/Editor
Life Garland is an award winning American Film Director and Editor.
Born in Houston Texas, his mother Pamela Henderson later moved the family to Sai Anantam Ashram, in California, under the spiritual guidance of Guru Swami Turiyasangitananda aka Alice Coltrane, the late jazz legend John Coltrane's wife. Located in the Santa Monica mountains near Agoura Hills, Life felt isolated growing up on the ashram and gravitated toward films as an escape.
Upon graduating from Highschool he landed a job at Propaganda Films. Passionate about filmmaking, Life insisted on learining every aspect of the process thus putting in time in every department while in training at this prestigious and revolutionary production company. He worked under A-list directors such as, Antoine Fuqua, David Fincher and Michael Bay just to name a few. Life fondly refers to those days at Propaganda as his film education.
Garland felt that learining how to edit was essential in the pursuit of becoming a legitimate filmmaker. In what seemed like no time at all, he earned a reputation as a first rate Editor, gaining the trust of some of the most influential names in the business. Ultimately, he won Best-Editing for DMX's "Who We Be", directed by Joseph Kahn. This transitioned him to director which garnered him awards and nominations for some of the biggest music videos in pop culture like, Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz "Get Low", Lil Wayne, "Go Dj" and Chamillionaire, "Ridin Dirty". Life went on to direct 3 short films, Fall From Grace, a cautionary tale and winner of the Red Cinema Short Challenge, Sunset Dreams, a fast paced dramedy and Linked, a thriller that caught the eye of super producer and owner of Radar Pictures, Ted Field. Most recently, Life finished writing Zion, a feature film based on his true life story seen through the lens of his twelve year old self.
Michelle Ramjee Executive Producer/Producer
Michelle was the youngest student to be accepted into The University of Western Sydney receiving her three year, Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, graduating with honors with distinction.
Michelle Ramjee was born in Sydney Australia, to an Indian father and Greek mother. She is the eldest of three daughters. From eight years of age she started classes in drama, classical ballet, tap and jazz. By the age of fourteen, Michelle was working professionally in various musicals and shows throughout Sydney. She was the youngest student to be accepted into The University of Western Sydney receiving her three year, Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, graduating with honors with distinction and attended the coveted N.I.D.A (The National Institute of Dramatic Art), where she completed her film and television degree. After various television commercials, guest star roles and work on stage, Michelle spent six months performing in Tokyo Japan.
Her natural instinct was to move into producing which led her to the United States, where she worked at the prestigious Propaganda Films in the music video and commercial division. Michelle worked closely with directors and producers. Together with Director, Life Garland, they both founded RainySky Films.
Michelle is a creative producer without boundaries and is well versed in the production process from conception to completion. Having worked with high profile artists such as: Akon, Prince, Iggy Azalea, Miguel, Pit Bull and P. Diddy just to name a few, Michelle is a strong leader, problem solver and illuminates her sets with a positive energy that is infectious.
